Graduate Grant-Writing Workshop

This past Monday (November 2) I attended the Graduate Grant-Writing Workshop hosted by Program in Jewish Culture and Society, Russian East European, and Eurasian Center and Slavic Reference Service. It was an excellent conversation where we talked about the importance of fellowships for facilitating research projects, and more importantly about the process of not only applying, but being successful in applying. The conversation then shifted to where to look for archives and best practices for identifying relevant fellowship opportunities. We were also joined by a representative of the Blavatnik Archive, which is an excellent resource because many of its collections are available digitally. The archive also has a fellowship opportunity for those looking to work with their collections.
